The European Union will disburse close to 200 million euro ($235 million) to Albania, Montenegro and North Macedonia in the coming days as their implementation of the EU's Growth Plan for the Western Balkans is running well, enlargement commissioner Marta Kos said on Monday.
Montenegro withdrew a record-high 245 million euro ($288 million) of European Union funding in 2025, as compared with 106 million euro absorbed in 2024 and 187 million euro in 2023, European affairs minister Maida Gorcevic said.
