Annie is a journalist at SeeNews, based in Zagreb covering Croatia. She established our Croatia news service over 20 years ago. With two decades of experience and fluency in Croatian and Serbian, she specialises in M&A deals and corporate news.
Dragana covers the Western Balkans for us, as her primary focus is North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. With an academic background in statistics, she has a keen interest in the macroeconomic and statistical trends shaping the region's narrative.
Genta Hodo is a journalist with additional experience in public relations for prominent Albanian enterprises. At SeeNews, she focuses on developments in the evolving business and economic environments of Albanian-speaking markets.
Georgi joined SeeNews at the beginning of 2026, after having worked for leading business media outlets in Bulgaria for four years. With a background in outsourcing and customer service, he has a special interest in ITO and BPO, transportation, real estate, e-mobility, and urban development.
Iskra Pavlova
Fluent in Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian and Montenegrin, Iskra is a key member of the SeeNews team. She began her career as a journalist in 2007 and covers corporate plans, privatisation, government tenders, green energy and macroeconomic trends. She holds a master’s in Slavic Studies and is an alumna of the Thomson Reuters Foundation/Robert Bosch Stiftung programme.
Nevena's experience in the media spans twenty-five years and positions as a translator, business news reporter and editor at both state-owned and private news outlets. She joined SeeNews in 2006 and took over as editor-in-chief five years later, overseeing the editorial content and operations of the Sofia-based newsroom and journalists in major cities in Southeast Europe.
Radina joined SeeNews in 2025 as a journalist, covering Bulgaria's business and economic news. With a background in communications, she has a special interest in growing start-ups that are making a name for themselves on the market.
Valentina reports on Serbia for SeeNews. She started her career as a journalist in 2019 and, with a degree in International Relations from the University of Belgrade, focuses especially on stories at the intersection of politics and business, particularly EU integration and geopolitics.
